The Birchwood Partnership is an informal coming together off all parties with an interest in the Birchwood community. This includes residents, community and voluntary groups, public sector services, private investors, businesses and employees. And it includes YOU.
The purpose of bringing people together is to identify needs and solutions to improve the environmental, economic, social and spiritual health and wellbeing of the people who live and work in the area.
It is intended that The Birchwood Partnership will provide an umbrella for strategic development and not seek to undertake activity that can be provided by existing service providers and initiatives. It may facilitate and/or act as catalyst for bringing together existing activities for the purposes of promoting clarity and greater uptake by end users. It may co-ordinate and support applications for project funding.
You may be asking how this is different to the aims and objectives of Birchwood Forum. The key add on is that this will draw the business community into working with all other parties within the area, not just work for itself.
If you are aware of any improvement that is necessary to make Birchwood a better place to work, live and visit, let us know. If you want to get involved in supporting any of those improvements, let us know. If you want to come along to a Steering Group meeting, just come and see what it’s all about.
Do you want to get involved ? contact Phillipa Sudlow, The Partnership Co-ordinator on 01925 827812 or via the Birchwood Forum email address: info@birchwoodforum.com
