Birchwood Forum was established in 1996, born out of a desire to improve and maintain Birchwood as a vibrant economic community where everybody works in partnership, investing in the future together. "Birchwood Forum was formed as a partnership to bring together private, public and community interests to address needs and issues associated with one of the North West's prime investment locations. The Forum continues to forge links between business, the public sector agencies and local education through a series of initiatives. Unusually the private sector takes the lead in driving forward the ideas and programmes. The continuing success depends on those working and living in Birchwood having interest and the will to get involved…we hope you will.” Chairman Peter Crompton, BE Group Birchwood Forum aims to: Sustain Birchwood as one of the North West's premier investment locations. Provide an interface between private and public sectors. Promote solutions for local issues. Provide a network for businesses in Birchwood. Work with and support employers in the area and offer assistance to organisations wishing to locate to Birchwood.
